Mainstream education is accepting increasing numbers of pupils with autism spectrum disorders into its classrooms. This seminar explains the difficulties experienced by students and the problematic issues that arise for teachers and support staff. Chris Mitchell, an adult with Asperger’s syndrome, and Jenny Ronayne, look at how best to support the ASD pupil in primary and secondary education. This seminar is for teaching, support and all school staff members. Issues covered include:
